Stuart Botha has been making award winning South African wines since 2007.
After completing his Oenology degree at Elsenburg Agricultural Institute in Stellenbosch, Stuart gained invaluable experience producing Bordeaux styled blends through harvests at the prestigious Chateau Bellefont Belcier and Chateau Trianon in Saint Emilion, France.
Stuart joined the TOKARA winemaking team in 2017 as head winemaker. He believes that truly great wines are made by allowing the grapes to express the terroir on which they are grown, and by guiding the fruit carefully and with minute attention to detail through the process to the bottle.
