Jeremy Borg, co-founder of Painted Wolf Wines, grew up Malawi and Zimbabwe. Here, the foundation of his lifelong love and passion for Africa, its wilderness, fauna, flora and people was built.
He and his wife Emma founded Painted Wolf Wines in 2006. The two main aims of the wine company are to raise money to build a more hopeful future for endangered African wild dogs and to allow Jeremy to pursue his ambitions as a winemaker.
Jeremy aims to make wines that are as interesting, exciting, and individual as wild dogs. Painted Wolf Wines has grown to become a leading producer of award-winning wines. They now have three distinctive and memorable ranges, are never afraid to try something a little bit off the beaten track, and have raised around R3.5 million and a further considerable sum for social upliftment projects.
