Winemaker
Ryno comes from the Free State originally, where he studied BSc Microbiology. In his second year he came to Stellenbosch to study BSc Agri viticulture, after which at took a job at Aan de Doorns winery.
This was a big learning curve for young Ryno as he was exposed to many different cultivars at the facility and ended up working there for 10 years. He likes to spend time at home with his family, mostly next to the fire, and if he wasn't a winemaker he would loved to have been a pilot, or even a crayfish diver!
