She also does inspirational talks; fighting poverty through the advancement of women’s and young people’s rights in both personal and political. Kay’s values are founded on the desire to serve and transforming the mind to realise limitless possibilities.

‘I have an insatiable, innate desire to excel, leave a legacy through inter-generational wealth creation and cultivate leadership skills in young women. We have so much to do, and so little time. I am inspired by strong women like Mrs.Graca Machel (family oriented, inner strength, working behind the scenes to bring change in the life of the people) and a few other luminary visionaries on the continent. It is true- Africa's renaissance can only be realized if we women change our own perceptions about doing big business. The secret is not leaving any woman behind. Empowering women powers homes, communities and nations!’

Kay has traveled the world and holds 5-star service experience in Tourism and Hospitality through International Country Clubs( USA in Florida) and Cruiseships companies. Locally, she served 12 years within the largest hotel chains Protea Hotels and City Lodge hotel group. Kay has been involved in community projects since 2014 where she managed events and catering for a large church in Pretoria before she relocated back in 2018 to her home town in Kayamandi, Stellenbosch and is the Front Office Manager at Oude Werf Hotel in Stellenbosch.

She is also working alongside the NPO Love to Give and the Amazink Restaurant in Kayamandi to train up some of the youth in the area, giving them useful hospitality and wine skills.
