Tamzyn describes herself as a creative person whether be ither hair, tattoos or food. From a young age, shewas interested in cooking, baking and experimenting with new flavour combinations. She says she’snever needed an excuse to cook or bake! Family gatherings usually involve her planning a three-course menu with baked snacks to set the scene; informal braais with friends would see tapas-style starters and a heavenly dessert. The bigger the guest list, the bigger the feast for Tamzyn!
She is inspired by creative plating and food photography and says she considers a beautifully plated dish with different colours, textures and shapes each time she creates a new menu.
At home, you will always find garlic, onion, coconut cream, rice or egg noodles and salt in her fridge and pantry. Away from the kitchen, she enjoys macramé, going out to the movies, attending music festivals and spending time with her friends.
