I’m a driven individual who aspires to learn. I never want to be stuck in a comfort zone. I always look for different challenges to reach new heights and grow.

I see myself travelling within the industry in the next five years. It will give me extensive knowledge and hone my skills in being a good wine steward and barista, and help me reach the goals I’ve set for myself in this industry I love so much.

My grandfather Mr L.J. Ngubo, is my role model. He taught me that learning never stops and hard work pays - something I learned by him enrolling himself for studies at UNISA at the age of 60. At age 70 he’s travelling the world, learning about religions and medicine. It shows me that learning has no age restrictions.

I’m reading The Secret by Rhonda Byrne.

I had a most delightful learning experience throughout the Grape to Glass week.My most memorable experience was when we met and received wine service training from master sommelier Jean-Vincent Ridon - I learned so much!
