I wish to become a famous winemaker who is able to bring together different cultures and nations.
The late Dr Anthony Edward Rupert is my role model. He was a South African businessman, philanthropist, and conservationist. He worked to help black people play a greater role in business in South Africa and wrote one of my favourite books, Priorities for Coexistence.
My best experience during Grape to Glass was the visit to Stellenbosch, one of our country’s most famous wine regions and home to some noteworthy wineries. I particularly enjoyed training by the Cape Wine Academy team and time spent at the Van Ryn’s Distillery.
