Roodeberg: Blend with Roodeberg
Roodeberg, the famous red wine blend from the KWV cellars, enjoys as much popularity today as it did 50 years ago when it was first produced by Dr Charles Niehaus, a founding father of the South African wine industry. He named the blends he developed Roodeberg, meaning literally "Red Mountain" after the hue of the Boland mountains at sunset.

Pearly Bay: Just for the fun of it
On the magnificent southern Cape coast lies Pearly Bay, a vast stretch of heather covered dunes and a dazzling, pearly white beach. Here summer days are spent having fun in the sun, and balmy evenings call for lazy strolls and relaxed picnics.

Not too far from here lie the vineyards where the grapes for our wines are harvested. The heat of the Cape summer ripens the grapes to perfection, and in the afternoon. gentle southern breezes from the Bay cool the grapes and ensure the perfect balance.

Golden Kaan represent modern South African wine enjoyment for every palate. The classic portfolio comprises a range of eight single varietal wines.
