Our Cellar

In our state-of-the-art cellar with a capacity of 250 tons we are attempting to produce 50% white and 50% red wines. The design of the cellar is the result of our winemakers many years of experience at other cellars.

The main focus was to create a cellar where Sauvignon Blanc receives optimal attention.

It is a gravitation cellar where the grapes are never sieved or pumped –no friction takes place quality is not compromised. Gentle handling, time and selection are the keywords at the cellar.

The generous size of the maturation cellar (515m²) facilitates flexibility and optimal time for barrel maturation.

The cellar with its wide verandahs is built around a courtyard in which functions and the Saturday Hermanuspietersfontein Food & Wine Market are held.
