Perdeberg Rex Equus Magnum 2019

A true reflection of Perdeberg. Rex Equus Limited Release was inspired by the 80 years of quality and excellence followed by the pioneers of Perdeberg. Although the wine is influenced by French flair and elegance, it is made from four Bordeaux cultivars and is as proudly South African as can be.

Dark berries, blue berries and dried spice on the nose. Cherries and vanilla on the palate. Rich and elegant with a well-balanced tannin structure
and lingering aftertaste.

This wine pairs exceptionally well with premium cuts of meat. A fine choice for Grilled ribeye steak served with Béarnaise sauce and potato Dauphinoise, or roast leg of lamb and potato Grand Mére.

Waterford Pecan Stream Pebble Hill 2021

A unique blend in its class with the use of Italian and Spanish grape varietals. This wine shows off fruit-forward aromatics of violets, cherries and liquorice accompanied by notes of classical cigar box spice. The palate follows the reputation of abundant dark red fruit and a classic tannin structure finishing with a balanced and smooth natural acidity.

Kleine Zalze Cellar Selection Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2020

This is an elegant wine that has great depth of flavour and with its great balance and wood integration this wine should age gracefully for many years to come. The 2 varieties were carefully blended to highlight the ripe dark plum Cabernet fruit on the nose and palate with Merlot contributing savoury characters and velvety tannins on the palate.

La Motte Pierneef Syrah / Viognier 2018

For the first time, Napier grapes were used in this blend. Syrah from Napier has the same spicy and perfumy characteristics as Elim Syrah. The wine shows intense red flower perfume, with aniseed spice. Mulberry fruit and savoury leather complement the complex nose. The palate is characteristic of a typical cool climate, with medium body, and fine tannins adding a lively presence. Green peppercorn spice on the palate contributes to a lengthy finish.
