ageing : A wine that is enjoyabel now but will improve with cellaring and reach its full potential in 2005, maintaining that quality for another 3 years.

about the harvest: Fruit was picked at 24 - 25 Balling and fermented at 28C for 8 days, followed by an average of 5 days extended skin contact. Malolactic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks. The wine was barrel matured for 12 months. 20% in first fill French oak, 40% in second fill French oak and 40% in third fill American oak. A light egg white fining preceded a fine sheet filitration, followed by bottling.
