Joining the team from his position as Senior Winemaker of KWV Red Wines, James comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience obtained from his Stellenbosch education and work experience at some of South Africa's leading wine cellars in Stellenbosch, as well as harvests working in New Zealand's Marlborough region and the Napa Valley in California.
He loves the outdoors, is inspired by the diversity of South African terroir, and respects winemaking traditions as well as the charm of this unique heritage. James is excited about the dynamic world of Leopard's Leap Wines. He looks forward to his role in reflecting the variety and quality of local vineyards and having people all over the world pour a glass of Leopard's Leap wine when they relax with friends or sit down with family at a table.
