Eric is very passionate about making wine and Chenin blanc is especially close to his heart.
In the last two decades his wines have won numerous awards but a highlight would definitely be the general Smuts for Viognier in 2011.
He is happiest in Arniston at their holiday house called Wynvlieg surrounded by his friends, children and grandchildren.
