After studying viticulture at Elsenburg, Henning Retief earned valuable experience at some leading farms in the Stellenbosch and Robertson valleys. He has been with Kleine Zalze since 2006 and fulfils a critical role in the winemaking team where it is fully recognised that excellent wines are made in the vineyard.
