Originally from Kwa-Zulu Natal , Jared had the privilege of growing up in the Cape Winelands.
He completed hisBComm degree specialising in Tourism Management through the institution of UNISA and has since furthered his wine studies via the Cape Wine Academy.
After returning to South Africa from a spell in the UK, he became involved in the wine industry through a tasting room job and completed a harvest, which ignited his passion for wine and everything surrounding the industry.
He describes himself as follows: “I have always had a passion for sport and have played or tried most disciplines. However, I would describe myself as the “Jack of all sports but master of none”.
