A dream was realized in September 1991 when L Auberge du Paysan Restaurant opened its doors to a very special clientéle.

A subtle feeling of the South of France, a definite flavour of the Provence and a touch of the olde worlde European charm and culture, join to bring you a fine French restaurant. Here you will enjoy traditional French cooking prepared by chef/patron Frederick Thermann.

Situated on the Wine Route amongst the vineyards between Somerset West and Stellenbosch, this unique country restaurant is part of a real farm where the diners enjoy all the good things of the country, including fresh produce from the farm gardens.
