Ses’fikile prides itself in distributing both red and white fine wines.

Ses’fikile is owned and controlled by empowered women. The wines are hand-crafted by a team of wine makers in the Stellenbosch area of the Cape Winelands.

We are three women who own a virtual company called Indlezane Investments to Ses`fikile wines. We came into being in 2004 and got operational in November 2006. We source both red and white wines from a reputable winemaker, Bruce Jack of Flagstone Winery in Somerset West. Ses’fikile Wines is a wine brand that distributes wines nationally and is on the verge of breaking into the export market.

Ses’fikile prides itself in distributing both red and white fine wines. At the moment we have 8 varietals introduced at three levels. These are Rainsong : Chenin Blanc 2006, Pinotage 2005 and Shiraz 2005. The second one is Folklore : Chardonnay 2006, Sauvignon Blanc 2006 and Carbenet Sauvignon and Carbenet Franc 2005. The top range is called Matriarch: Shiraz Reserve 2004 and Carbenet Sauvignon 2004.

Some of our wines are listed with Pick 'n Pay, Makro, Piccardi Rebel, Ultra Liquors, Sun International and other local hotels and restaurants, as well as some township establishments both in Cape Town and Johannesburg. At the moment there is a pending listing with Marks and Spencer in the UK. The South Africa High Commission in London will be gracing their tables with Ses`fikile wines at the 2007 Freedom celebrations.

Our Chenin Blanc was voted one of the top ten wines by Neil Pendock of the Sunday Times, a national newspaper, for the months of September and October 2006. This brand got the opportunity to be featured in publications of note: Fairlady Magazine, The Wines of Note magazine (Soweto Edition) which is obtainable in most Makro's and Bootlegers stores in Gauteng, The Sunday Sun of the 08th of April 2006 , the Sawubona magazine (March Edition) which is South African Airways’ in-flight magazine and the Winelands,a new magazine launched in November 2006.Ses`fikile wines also got appreciated by distinguished palates at a gala evening hosted for the 2010 bid business initiative with Danny Jordan as a guest speaker.

We are promoting and marketing this brand by attending local and international exhibitions such as the Soweto Wine festival, Jozi Cheese and Wine Festival, Limpopo Wine Show, London Generic Tasting, Prowein Wine Show in Germany and the forthcoming London International Wine and Spirits Fair in May 22-24 2007.
