As the owners of Hermanuspietersfontein, we are proud to have named our cellar and brand after the original name given in 1855 to Hermanus in Walker Bay, South Africa.

From the outset our goal was to produce wines of the highest quality and to add value to the reputation which Hermanus already enjoys as a wine-producing region.

Our winemaker, Bartho Eksteen, has realized his dream of obtaining high quality grapes from a single farm to make world-class wines in a state of the art wine cellar. He controls the entire process in this 250-ton cellar, from the earliest vineyard budding to the bottling and laying down of the wine. Under these seamless conditions he can live out his passion and guide each harvest to deliver wines of distinctive style and character.
