This still expanding cellar is situated 5km South of Stellenbosch on the airport road opposite Vlottenburg Station.

The cellar was established in 1945 and in 1947 the first grapes were pressed. The cellar presses 9 000 tons of grapes from which approximately 7-million litres of wine are produced. Vlottenburg and the high quality wines produced by Winemaker Kowie du Toit are synonymous.

Rated by Wine Magazine as one of Cape’s “Best value” Cellars. A regular participant in the Nederburg Wine Auction for scarce and selected wines. “Limited Release” wines are bottled under Premium wine range. A rare wine, Muscat de Hambourg, a red sweet wine, is produced.
