About Us

YOU'RE IN GREAT COMPANY
A dynamic and highly motivated team contributes to our success. In combining their spirit of freethinking and enterprise with a mutual pursuit of excellence, they shape the distinctive Glen Carlou personality.

David Finlayson (MD Cellarmaster)
"To create wines in a uniquely South African way and being bold enough to transcend fads and fashion is the challenge. To this end I subscribe to a holistic approach: meticulous care in the vineyard combined with a personal touch in the cellar."

Hess Museum of Contemporary Art
The Cape winelands tourism industry has just been given a boost as an international art destination with the opening of the second exhibition at the Hess Museum of Contemporary Art at the Glen Carlou Winery outside Paarl. The Museum, which opened in 2006, currently has a new exhibition of works by Andy Goldsworthy, Deryck Healey and Ouattara Watts. Restaurant Glen Carlou is proud to announce the opening of their restaurant, Zen, in the newly appointed winery. A tempting selection of cuisine, with both ethnic and international flavours, can be enjoyed under the high wooden beams of the tasting arena or outside on the terrace, offering a panoramic view of vineyard and mountain.
