Background

Grünberger - The Prince of White Wines.

The Grünberger range consists of 4 white wines and 1 Rosé, namely Stein, Spritziger, Freudenlese, Spritzenlese and Rosenlese.

The original Grünberger, The Prince of White Wines, was developed by Dr Alfred Baumgartner, a German oenologist, and his colleagues at The Bergkelder. It was launched with great success in 1953. In character, it was closely related to the famous German white wines of the Rhine Valley - fresh, fragrant and deliciously fruity.

The unique packaging, namely the bocksbeutel bottle for Stein, Freudenlese and Rosenlese, as well as the special cylindrical packaging for Spritzenlese and Spritziger, distinguish this range from direct competitors.

Key consumer benefits:
*Quality - Grünberger wines are classic blended wines from the best cultivars. The consumer can rely on the continued high quality of the wines
*Pricing
*Trustworthiness - The Bergkelder seal appears on all five products
*Distribution - Available throughout South Africa
