KWV has been part of South African life since its inception in 1918. The company prides itself on the quality of its wines, made from the best grapes sourced from across the Western Cape. The wines are made in the KWV Cellar in Paarl, in the heart of the Cape wineland.

KWV has been part of South African life since its inception in 1918. The company prides itself on the quality of its wines, made from the best grapes sourced from across the Western Cape. The wines are made in the KWV Cellar in Paarl, in the heart of the Cape wineland.

KWV Wines are crafted with extraordinary skill and dedication. Our viticulturists work closely with our grape growers and are involved throughout the process, from vineyard establishment to harvest. Our winemakers regularly visit the vineyards to familiarise themselves with the terroir and the fruit, and new areas are constantly targeted to ensure grapes are obtained that fit the stylistic direction for KWV Wines.

As a leader in the field, KWV accepts responsibility for the environment. The company, as well as all its grape suppliers, are members of Integrated Production of Wine, a voluntary environmental sustainability scheme.

KWV's vision is that every vintage should be better than the last, constantly offering a rewarding experience to our wide and varied range of wine consumers.

There are three ranges, namely KWV Reserve Collection for the expert wine drinker, KWV Classic Collection for the discerning drinker and KWV Contemporary Collection which offers a safe and trusted choice for the new wine drinker.
