Perdeberg Rex Equus Magnum 2019

A true reflection of Perdeberg. Rex Equus Limited Release was inspired by the 80 years of quality and excellence followed by the pioneers of Perdeberg. Although the wine is influenced by French flair and elegance, it is made from four Bordeaux cultivars and is as proudly South African as can be.

Dark berries, blue berries and dried spice on the nose. Cherries and vanilla on the palate. Rich and elegant with a well-balanced tannin structure
and lingering aftertaste.

The Sauvignon Blanc has a pale lemon colour with greenish highlights, with scents reminiscent of tropical fruits and hints ripe figs. Lightly bodied, with flavours of citrus on the palate with a bright acidity.

Chamonix Reserve in the first year after harvest shows a pale straw colour, fresh aromas with scents of exotic spice, figs, nettle, and grapefruit. On the palate it is full and round with rich fruit sensation and minerality balanced by bracing acidity

Nederburg The Winemasters Carignan Grenache Rosé 2024

Aromas of raspberry, cherry, blueberry and pomegranate are also found on the crisp yet juicy palate. The almost chalky, dry grip of the pomegranate is such a lovely contrast to the bright fruitiness of the berries that it adds texture and breadth. Overall, the wine is more weighty and has a greater presence in the mouth than expected. It also helps to elongate and stretch out the dry finish while the flavour lingers long.
