“I simply love Grenache Rosé - I love it for all the red fruit flavours, the strawberry, pomegranate, red berry fruit and for the last few years we’ve experimented with a single vineyard rosé from Grenache. So the intent was a delightful, softly pink, elegant fruit focused wine but it had to have structure and body and a long finish on the palate - all of this almost contrary to the fact that you press the grape gently and drain off just the freshest ‘free-run juice’ with little or no chance of getting tannins or structure from the skins! We are really thrilled with the result. The most daunting reality is we now have to somehow manage to do the same this vintage!” – Ken Forrester

Kleine Zalze Family Reserve Chardonnay 2025

Only the very best expressions of Chardonnay are selected for this wine. Focus is placed on blending components that are not necessarily obviously pungent and fruity, but rather those that are intensely and elegantly structured, promising fantastic ageability. On the nose there is a delicate balance of minerality with bursts of grapefruit pith, underpinned by subtle nuances of oak. The rounded, almost waxy, texture is punctuated by a distinct upfront grip and a finish reminiscent of Jasmine flowers and crushed oyster shells.

Waterford Elgin Sauvignon Blanc 2024

A highly focused Sauvignon Blanc, presenting fresh passion fruit, Granny Smith apple, white peach, and guava, with subtle hints of lemongrass. The underlying chalk and slate notes confirm the cool climate origin of the grapes, Elgin. The palate is pristine and precise, with a fine texture from extended lees contact. The finish is long and lingering, culminating in a fruity aftertaste with delicate hints of saline.

Hazendal Chenin Blanc 2019

Prominent bursts of apricot and lemon are accompanied by spicy notes of ginger and nutmeg. The nose culminates in whiffs of buttery toast and macadamia nut. A rich style of Chenin Blanc with a lively acidity ending in a creamy finish. Medium Lemon in colour.

Colour: Bright Red.
Bouquet: Red fruit, cherries and plum on the nose.
Taste: Flavours of red berries, cherry, and a hint of chocolate are on the palate, complemented by an elegant tannin structure. This wine has a great varietal expression and flavours with a touch of oak that helps with complexity, mouthfeel and colour stability.
