This vintage expresses the hallmark balance of fruit, flavour, and freshness. The palate is creamy and textured from extended lees contact, while a subtle, well-integrated soft acidity provides structure and lift. The fruit from the nose follows through beautifully, joined by a subtle thread of minerality that adds depth. A creamy, fruit-driven finish lingers with gentle complexity, showcasing the wine’s poised and polished character.

Kleine Zalze Family Reserve Syrah 2021

A great example of what this cultivar is capable of in Stellenbosch. A fragrant fresh bouquet with lively fruits and hints of pepper. This wine is full-bodied with great depth balanced by an elegant velvety finish. The intense but finer tannins lend itself to a variety of meat-based dishes. This wine has great drinking capability at release but could benefit from careful cellaring for up to 10 years.

Kleine Zalze Family Reserve Chardonnay 2025

Only the very best expressions of Chardonnay are selected for this wine. Focus is placed on blending components that are not necessarily obviously pungent and fruity, but rather those that are intensely and elegantly structured, promising fantastic ageability. On the nose there is a delicate balance of minerality with bursts of grapefruit pith, underpinned by subtle nuances of oak. The rounded, almost waxy, texture is punctuated by a distinct upfront grip and a finish reminiscent of Jasmine flowers and crushed oyster shells.

Colour: Coral pink
Nose: A fuller styled rosé with a bouquet of rose petals, candy floss, strawberries and fresh nectarines. Subtle hints of guava fruit roll are complimented by cranberry notes.
Taste: The aromas carry through to the fruit- forward palate with prominent nectarines, Turkish delight, rose and lingering red berries.  The wine is full and well-rounded width a balance acidity and a rich and creamy mounthfeel, reminiscent of strawberries and cream.

The palate is refined and elegant, with prominent mulberry and mix spice flavours supported by well-defined tannins, leaving a lingering finish.
