Always a crowd-pleaser, and this vintage is no exception. This wine steers clear of grassy, herbaceous, or flinty notes. Instead, it opens with tropical aromas that evolve into generous flavours of fig, pear, and apple on the palate. There’s a beautiful balance between the ripe fruit and a gentle citrus acidity - think lemon and lime. The acidity is subtle rather than sharp, adding a signature succulence and refreshing quality to a rounded, satisfying mouthful.

Quoin Rock Chardonnay 2022

Straw colour with hint of green – youthful and vibrant. Attractive nose showing ripe citrus and orange peel leading to hints of vanilla spice oak and toasted brioche. Citrus peel on palate with good weight and lightly buttery texture. The wine is well balanced with fresh acid and minerality persistent lemon/lime on the finish.

Colour: Lively, vibrant green tinge
Nose: Delightful aromas of yellow peaches, winter melon, passion fruit and gooseberries.
Taste: Prominent flavours of Cape gooseberries balanced by a crisp acidity and a soft sugary sweetness leads to a lingering passion fruit and honeysuckle finish.

Hazendal Estate Pinotage 2025

Scents of sappy, succulent wild berries, cranberries, with an undertow of damson, blueberries and fine, peppery-spice. Generously-fruited yet willowy and slender, the palate is framed by firm yet fine-grained tannins, sown with a line of lemony acidity. The finish is crunchy and refreshing with a red fruit bite.

La Motte Millennium 2023

Merlot and Cabernet Franc form a classic combination, as found in some of the world’s most celebrated wines. The Shiraz contributes elegance to the palate, while a small percentage of Petit Verdot adds color, spice, and complexity to the blend. Aromas of black berries and plums are dominant, with subtle sweet notes of fruitcake and dark toffee in the background. Cloves and integrated roasted oak notes are also present. The palate is medium-bodied with soft, lively tannins and a lingering berry finish.

“I simply love Grenache Rosé - I love it for all the red fruit flavours, the strawberry, pomegranate, red berry fruit and for the last few years we’ve experimented with a single vineyard rosé from Grenache. So the intent was a delightful, softly pink, elegant fruit focused wine but it had to have structure and body and a long finish on the palate - all of this almost contrary to the fact that you press the grape gently and drain off just the freshest ‘free-run juice’ with little or no chance of getting tannins or structure from the skins! We are really thrilled with the result. The most daunting reality is we now have to somehow manage to do the same this vintage!” – Ken Forrester
