Not the archetypal Cabernet Sauvignon due to the omittance of oak barrel ageing, this wine is extremely expressive with aromatics of blackcurrant, violets, and green tobacco leaf while the palate is particularly vivid and energetic – lovely pure fruit to go with a great line of acidity and fine, dry tannins.

Despite the wine’s ‘broad shoulders’ it maintains a svelte structure and almost never ending finish. A brilliant example of how great Stellenbosch Cabernet can be, highlighting the perfect balance between new-world opulence and old-world elegance.
