Ken Forrester Renegade 2021

One of the very first Rhône style blends in South Africa. This elegant Rhône blend displays Old World Style with New World fruit. Hint of Grenache’s earthy rusticity and Shiraz’s noble spice with hints of nutmeg and salty black olive on the finish.
Balanced with soft integrated tannins.
58% Shiraz, 22% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre

The Chamonix Troika has a deep ruby-mulberry colour on release, with scents that recall vanilla, blackberries, forest floor notes and tobacco spices. The wine is well structured; full, round and smooth on the palate with rich fruit and berry sensations, fine harmony and length of flavour.

A fresh, crisp, medium-bodied wine made in a New World style. Beautiful aromas like ripe passion fruit and granadilla burst out of the glass. A fun whiff of gooseberry also compliments the other fruity aromas. Delicious granadilla and gooseberry flavours together with Granny Smith apples impart a zesty and lengthy finish on the palate.
