Colour: Ruby red
Nose: An abundance of red cherry and fresh raspberry aromas with subtle hints of peppermint and cinnamon.
Taste: A medium-bodied wine with a velvety smooth tannin structure that boasts ripe red berries on the palate. Red cherries and raspberries are prominent, giving the impression of juicy, ripe fruit on the palate with lingering sweet baking spices on the finish.

This is a very fragrant and delicate wine but with amazing concentration and depth of flavour. A bouquet of fresh strawberries, dried rose petal and dried herbs gives way to a dancing palate with zippy acidity and flavours of wild bramble with hints of all-spice that are perfectly balanced with a fine and supple tannin structure.

A great example of what this cultivar is capable of in Stellenbosch. A fragrant fresh bouquet with lively fruits and hints of pepper. This wine is full-bodied with great depth balanced by an elegant velvety finish. The intense but finer tannins lend itself to a variety of meat-based dishes. This wine has great drinking capability at release but could benefit from careful cellaring for up to 10 years.
