Colour: Deep ruby red.
Nose: Inviting aromas of ripe plums, strawberry reduction, and warm cloves, complemented by sweet spices and subtle hints of pomegranate.
Taste: A medium-bodied wine with a velvety smooth tannin structure with flavours of juicy plums and strawberries on the palate, supported by savoury undertones and subtle vanilla nuances. A lingering finish with persistent fruit flavours, subtle spice and a hint of sweetness.

Groote Post The Inheritance Merlot 2021

This 100% Merlot is a vibrant garnet red with a complex nose of ripe, red berry fruit. Cherries and raspberries are dominant on the nose, followed by an alluring hint of floral notes, vanilla, spice, and cedar notes. The nose follows through on the palate with bright red fruit followed by spice, forest floor and vanilla flavours. This medium-bodied wine was matured for 15 months in first-fill French oak barrels and has firm, yet refined tannins and a long, lingering aftertaste.

La Motte Reserve Collection Cabernet Sauvignon 2023

The vineyards are trellised and planted on the first prominent slopes approximately 7 km from the False Bay coastline. Soils are a combination of weathered granite and shale, offering both proper drainage and water-holding capacity. Occasional coffee-stone gravel occurs throughout. Sustainable practices are followed, and the vineyards are managed to ensure good aeration and optimal light penetration. Destemming and sorting take place in the vineyard.
