Durbanville Hills Merlot Dry Rosé 2023

Colour: Coral pink
Nose: A fuller styled rosé with a bouquet of rose petals, candy floss, strawberries and fresh nectarines. Subtle hints of guava fruit roll are complimented by cranberry notes.
Taste: The aromas carry through to the fruit- forward palate with prominent nectarines, Turkish delight, rose and lingering red berries.  The wine is full and well-rounded width a balance acidity and a rich and creamy mounthfeel, reminiscent of strawberries and cream.

Scents of violets and sweet spice are followed by fragrances of ripe berry and a hint of mocha and vanilla. The palate is complex, rich and full with layers of fruit, oak and spice, and tannins that are soft, yet firm. Ending in a long, aromatic and floral finish, it shows very well.
