There are historic vineyards high in the mountainous hills above the Atlantic Cape coastline, where breezes waft off the ocean and the morning mists shroud the imposing cliff faces. Hidden here are vines of Chenin Blanc interplanted with Palomino, dating back to the early 1960s.

Sustainable practices are followed, and the vineyards are managed to ensure good aeration and optimal light penetration. Destemming and sorting take place in the vineyard.
