Light green in colour with deliciously refreshing aromas of Granny Smith apples, stone fruit and juicy figs. A well-balanced wine with delicate layers of tropical fruit and citrus undertones. The wine ends in a fresh finish with a natural acidity that lingers along with a sweet apricot note.

Groote Post The Inheritance Merlot 2021

This 100% Merlot is a vibrant garnet red with a complex nose of ripe, red berry fruit. Cherries and raspberries are dominant on the nose, followed by an alluring hint of floral notes, vanilla, spice, and cedar notes. The nose follows through on the palate with bright red fruit followed by spice, forest floor and vanilla flavours. This medium-bodied wine was matured for 15 months in first-fill French oak barrels and has firm, yet refined tannins and a long, lingering aftertaste.

Gentle pomegranate nuances complete a beautifully layered and elegant nose.

PALATE Lively and refreshing, with a vibrant balance of acidity and fruit creating a clean, elegant mouthfeel. Flavours of raspberry, cranberry, and fresh red berries follow through seamlessly, framed by zesty grapefruit notes.
