Kleine Zalze Vineyard Selection Grenache 2023

This is a very fragrant and delicate wine but with amazing concentration and depth of flavour. A bouquet of fresh strawberries, dried rose petal and dried herbs gives way to a dancing palate with zippy acidity and flavours of wild bramble with hints of all-spice that are perfectly balanced with a fine and supple tannin structure.

The Erica Shiraz shows classic Shiraz characters, full-bodied and bold. Aromatic notes of black fruit (plums& blackcurrant) pepper, underlined with wooden smoky tone. The palate is full, round and well balanced with an explosion of spice (anise, coriander and pepper) and red berries.

The nose is enticing with aromas of red currant, raspberry, strawberries and cream. These primary fruit notes are complemented by a subtle hint of fresh bread dough, indicative of its extended ageing on the lees. A delicate walnut nuance adds an intriguing complexity to the aromatic profile. The palate showcases pink lady apples add a crisp, juicy character, while the acidity provides a zesty uplift, enhancing the freshness of the fruit.

Grand Vin is a full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux-style blend with complex layers of fruit and oak. Amber with a burgundy undertone. Mulberries, vanilla, glazed cherries and dried fruit with cinnamon, cedar wood and mint in the background. Raspberries and cherry fruit cake, milky chocolate, vanilla and subtle hints of thyme. Smooth and full bodied with lingering fruit and well integrated oak.
