Kleine Zalze Family Reserve Syrah 2021

A great example of what this cultivar is capable of in Stellenbosch. A fragrant fresh bouquet with lively fruits and hints of pepper. This wine is full-bodied with great depth balanced by an elegant velvety finish. The intense but finer tannins lend itself to a variety of meat-based dishes. This wine has great drinking capability at release but could benefit from careful cellaring for up to 10 years.

Durbanville Hills Merlot Potstill Brandy 10-Year-Old 2011

Amber with a burgundy undertone. Mulberries, vanilla, glazed cherries and dried fruit with cinnamon, cedar wood and mint in the background. Raspberries and cherry fruit cake, milky chocolate, vanilla and subtle hints of thyme. Smooth and full bodied with lingering fruit and well integrated oak.

Durbanville Hills MCC Blanc de Blanc 2021

Colour: Bright lemon yellow with a lively green tinge.
Nose: Upfront and prominent aromas of lemon, mandarin, granny smith apples and nectarines are complimented by subtle hints of marzipan on the nose.
Taste: This is a citrus-driven wine with flavours of zesty lemon rind and lingering grapefruit on the palate. Subtle hints of pineapple and oak flavours can be tasted on the lengthy finish. This wine shows great aging potential and displays a well-balanced acidity with a delicate bubbles and fine mousse.

Chamonix Greywacke Pinotage 2022

The Greywacke Pinotage has a deep garnet red colour with tinges of dark violet when young. The bouquet is complex with scents recalling wild berries, spice and cherries. On the palate the wine shows full body and rich dark chocolate with fruit flavours, balanced elegantly by tannins, with a long and lingering finish that reveals a sweetness reminiscent of liquorice.

Merlot and Cabernet Franc form a classic combination, as found in some of the world’s most celebrated wines. The Shiraz contributes elegance to the palate, while a small percentage of Petit Verdot adds color, spice, and complexity to the blend. Aromas of black berries and plums are dominant, with subtle sweet notes of fruitcake and dark toffee in the background. Cloves and integrated roasted oak notes are also present. The palate is medium-bodied with soft, lively tannins and a lingering berry finish.
