This wine is full-bodied with great depth balanced by an elegant velvety finish. The intense but finer tannins lend itself to a variety of meat-based dishes. This wine has great drinking capability at release but could benefit from careful cellaring for up to 10 years.

This wine is made from grapes from the southernmost vineyards in Africa. The cool climate of the wine imparts aromas of citrus and passion fruit that are prominent. Other varietal characteristics that stands out include green pepper and gooseberry aromas. The palate is very elegant and finishes with a mineral-like quality.
