Raka Quinary 2021

The wine has a Deep ruby brick colour.  Cassis and leather on the spicy nose. Palate is elegant and dry with red berry fruit and spice following from the nose. Dry and grainy tannins on the leathery aftertaste.

On the nose, this wine has complex layers of dark berries, ripe plums, cranberries, black olives, leather, vanilla oak and hints of pencil shavings. On the palate, the red blend delivers big, structured layers of fruit, tomato cocktail and wood before it finishes with elegant and lingering velvety tannins; a beautiful example of new-world fruit and old-world elegance.

Taste: A medium-bodied wine with a very approachable tannin structure, juicy plum and strawberry on the finish. An elegant, smooth wine with lingering sweet cherry.
