Colour: Dark ruby red
Aroma: A well-integrated bouquet of sour cherry, ripe strawberries, cigar box, dark red plum and cranberry balanced by well-integrated wood.
Taste: A rich, dark, full-bodied wine with a strong tannin backbone that will age to perfection for at least two decades to come. On the palate,  rosewood, dark fruit and hints of vanilla linger on the finish.
50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 15% Malbec, 15% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot

A fresh, crisp, medium-bodied wine made in a New World style. Beautiful flavour like ripe passion-fruit and granadilla bursts out of the glass. A fun whiff of gooseberry also compliments the other fruity aromas. Delicious pineapple and granadilla flavours together with Granny Smith apples impart a zesty and lengthy finish on the palate.

Aromas of black berries and plums are dominant, with subtle sweet notes of fruitcake and dark toffee in the background. Cloves and integrated roasted oak notes are also present. A true reflection of Perdeberg. Rex Equus Limited Release was inspired by the 80 years of quality and excellence followed by the pioneers of Perdeberg. Although the wine is influenced by French flair and elegance, it is made from four Bordeaux cultivars and is as proudly South African as can be.

Dark berries, blue berries and dried spice on the nose. Cherries and vanilla on the palate. Rich and elegant with a well-balanced tannin structure
and lingering aftertaste.
