DaschBosch The Mill Cinsault

The wine is very fruit-forward and lively with pronounced aromas of red fruits, followed by flavors of strawberry, raspberry and morello cherry. Light notes of white pepper are also present. On the palate, it is crisp and full of red fruits. It is both easy drinking and structured and serious enough to enjoy with food.

Webersburg Bastiaan Blend 2018

Ruby garnet in colour. The wine shows nuances of tea-leaf and mint on a spicy nose. Palate is medium and smooth with a leathery note followed through onto a juicy red berry finish. The wine is well developed, but still youthful and very elegant. The finish is juicy and smooth with lingering flavours of red berry bliss. Soft and linear tannin structure with fine oak nuances towards a bold vibrant finish. A true expression of our exceptional Helderberg Cabernet Sauvignon and Webersburg Heritage.

Our Merlot displays classic aromas of ripe red berries, leading to a palate layered with generous, juicy fruit flavours. The wine is beautifully textured, with a silky mouthfeel and refined, supple tannins that complement its food-friendly nature. A well-balanced, natural acidity adds vibrancy and length to the finish. While immediately approachable, this wine will continue to evolve gracefully with careful cellaring for three to five years.

The Gypsy 2017

A very concentrated, focused blend with layers of deep fruit. The character is expectedly somewhat  “wild” a little brambly with hints of nutmeg, cinnamon, dark spices, with vanilla scents and a distinct, concentrated red-fruit focus. Great for laying down and keeping for at least ten years but already rewarding if allowed to breathe in a decanter.

“I simply love Grenache Rosé - I love it for all the red fruit flavours, the strawberry, pomegranate, red berry fruit and for the last few years we’ve experimented with a single vineyard rosé from Grenache. So the intent was a delightful, softly pink, elegant fruit focused wine but it had to have structure and body and a long finish on the palate - all of this almost contrary to the fact that you press the grape gently and drain off just the freshest ‘free-run juice’ with little or no chance of getting tannins or structure from the skins! We are really thrilled with the result. The most daunting reality is we now have to somehow manage to do the same this vintage!” – Ken Forrester
