This vintage expresses the hallmark balance of fruit, flavour, and freshness. Aromas of ripe stone fruit, peach, white apricot, pear, and Golden Delicious apple rise from the glass with inviting clarity. The palate is creamy and textured from extended lees contact, while a subtle, well-integrated soft acidity provides structure and lift. The fruit from the nose follows through beautifully, joined by a subtle thread of minerality that adds depth. A creamy, fruit-driven finish lingers with gentle complexity, showcasing the wine’s poised and polished character.

La Motte Pierneef Atelier 2020

The perfumy rose petal and eastern spice are now more integrated with the oak and created lots of depth on the nose. The pallet is soft, gentle with mellowed consistency and medium bodied rather than full bodied. The finish delivers flavours of liquorice, savoury salami and red peppercorns. A very classic character for a South African Syrah.

Hazendal Pinotage 2020

Prominent red fruit aromas of plum, red cherry and violets welcome the nose, while seductive smoky notes, tobacco, and dark truffle. A well-structured medium bodied wine. The fruit and oak components are married seamlessly. Luscious red fruit follows on the palate, with an enduring finish. Deep Ruby in colour.

The finish is long and lingering, culminating in a fruity aftertaste with delicate hints of saline.
