A medium-bodied wine made in a fresh and fruity New World style. Beautiful layers of sweet fresh melon & guava play on the nose, with subtle whiffs of jasmine and peach blossoms. Zesty summer melon with hints of white peaches follow through on the palate, finishing with a well-balanced crisp acidity.

oak flavours compliments the fresh fruit flavours. Juicy, fruity flavours coupled with an elegant tannin structure, make for smooth and well-balanced wine with a lingering after-taste.

This is a very fragrant and delicate wine but with amazing concentration and depth of flavour. A bouquet of fresh strawberries, dried rose petal and dried herbs gives way to a dancing palate with zippy acidity and flavours of wild bramble with hints of all-spice that are perfectly balanced with a fine and supple tannin structure.

The wine showcases perfumed notes of apricots and Muscat, resulting from a back blending of barrels in our Solera system. It offers a delightful infusion of depth, aged richness, and vibrant youthfulness. Careful blending and selection ensure low alcohol and low residual sugar content, creating a distinct character that pairs beautifully with Waterford Rose Geranium chocolate. Best served chilled.

Palate: The palate is delicate, creamy and refined. The fruit components of the wine are pronounced upon the first sip, yet develop and evolve into a creamy melange of beeswax and brioche.

Kleine Zalze Family Reserve Chardonnay 2024

Only the very best expressions of Chardonnay are selected for this wine. Focus is placed on blending components that are not necessarily obviously pungent and fruity, but rather those that are intensely and elegantly structured, promising fantastic ageability. On the nose there is a delicate balance of minerality with bursts of grapefruit pith, underpinned by subtle nuances of oak. The rounded, almost waxy, texture is punctuated by a distinct upfront grip and a finish reminiscent of Jasmine flowers and crushed oyster shells.
