Nederburg Classic Rosé 2024

Turkish delight pink in colour, this wine showcases lovely aromas of rose petals and strawberries with a hint of candy floss. Intense flavours of red berries with a dash of sweetness, ending extremely fresh and elegant.

Excellent on its own or enjoyed with smoked salmon, summer salads or vegetarian dishes.

in the vineyard : The grapes were sourced from vineyards in the Paarl, Wellington, Rawsonville, Swartland and Robertson areas. The viticulturist works hand-in-hand with the grape growers in managing each vineyard block to ensure the best quality fruit for this wine. The different aspects, microclimates and soil types associated with each vineyard add to the complexity of the wine.
about the harvest: The grapes were harvested by hand and machine at 19º to 22º Balling in January and February
in the cellar : The fruit was crushed and allowed three hours of skin contact to extract the delicate rose colour and varietal aromas. The juice was fermented in stainless-steel tanks at 15° to 16°C. After fermentation, the individual components were blended, stabilised and bottled.
