Bosman Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Wine Club Pinot Gris 2025

Colour: Pale straw, bright and crystalline.
Nose: Delicately aromatic with notes of green pear, crisp apple and white peach, layered with hints of lemon zest and citrus blossom. Subtle undertones of wet stone and saline minerality.
Palate: Light- to medium-bodied with a lively acidity, giving the wine precision and energy. Flavours mirror the nose with pear, apple and stone fruit. Clean and linear on the palate with a crisp, dry and persistent lingering finish of citrus and mineral notes.

Fresh oysters or grilled line fish, summer salads with goat’s cheese and light pastas with lemon or herbs.

Limited Release

As passionate winegrowers we love to experiment, try something new, perhaps vinify a small batch of grapes separately, just to see how it turns out. Often, these little trials turn into something surprisingly special that deserves to be shared with fellow wine lovers.

in the vineyard : From our cool, south-facing vineyards overlooking Walker Bay on the foothills of the Babylonstoren Mountains.

in the cellar : The hand-picked grapes were cooled overnight, then hand- sorted and destemmed whereafter the pressed juice was left overnight to settle. Alcoholic fermentation occurred in Stainless Steel tanks.
