ageing : This excellent 2020 vintage will peak from mid-2024 to 2034 when tertiary aromas will start to develop.
in the vineyard : Decomposed granite, oakleaf and Tukulu soils. The vines are 21 years old.
about the harvest: Smaller berries, with excellent colour and flavour intensity, harvested at optimum phenolic ripeness.
in the cellar : The wine spent 9 days on skins in rotor fermenters at 25°C. It was aged for 24 months in new 225 L 100% classic French oak barrels from Tonnellerie Bossuet.
