in the vineyard : In 1707 Pierre Rochefort and Gerrit Hanseret were granted land in the Stellenbosch Wine Region. This limited release wine is a tribute to their pioneering spirit that saw the farm planted with its first vines, establishing a proud wine pedigree.

about the harvest: The grapes were picket at full ripeness of 24.3º Balling.

in the cellar : 14 Days skin contact after fermentation. The elegant wine was matured for 18 months in new French oak barrels.
