2003 Michelangelo International Wine Awards - Silver
Aniseed, black currants and violet on the nose. The palate shows additional black olive and salami flavours. The soft tannins are mouth-filling and make for a lingering after-taste. Excellent ageing potential.
The 2001 La Motte Shiraz is most enjoyable with venison, spicy pates, guinea fowl and roast beef or lamb.
