Colour: Intense garnet hue.
Nose: Christmas pudding with dried apricot notes and some smoky, gamey and mocha nuances.
Palate: Well integrated fruit and spirit with a bit of spice.

Serve with a platter of fresh nuts, creamy cheese with slivers of green fig preserve, or simply on its own.

in the vineyard : The grapes are from selected vineyards throughout the valley.
about the harvest: Harvesting took place at high sugars of 26º Balling.
in the cellar : The grapes are fermented on the skins under controlled temperatures. Pressing takes place at about 10° Balling. The wine is then blended and fortified with 85% brandy spirits and a dash of Shiraz is added.
