Paradyskloof Chardonnay 2004

The 2004 tank fermented Chardonnay (unwooded) is showing its clean, fresh lime and citrus character and at the same time revealing a refreshing mineraly palate which will develop in time. (The first vintage in this style, the 2002 Chardonnay, which we tasted recently, was an eye opener!).
Pale yellow to greenish hues. Restrained aromatics with mineral notes of wet stones, spice, citrus and white pear. Medium bodied but palate entry is rich and very well textured, the fruit is carried well onto the finish giving the wine superb length.

The idea is a versatile lifestyle wine for different occasions and meals.
