ageing : Bottle maturation potential at least 10 years and longer.

in the vineyard : A cool summer that had a long growth to effect. Stress conditions until mid February. Good rainfall during winter established an adequate underground water table. A two week period of high temperatures in February causes rapid ripening towards the end of the season. A good season for red wine with very intense berry and fruit flavours.
