Friesland Dry Red 2001

This is medium ruby red coloured wine. The aromas are intense: oozing with raspberry and blue berry fruitiness to be almost candy-like. The palate of this unwooded blend is smooth and uncomplicated but there’s enough body for the wine to be enjoyed not only on its own from copious glasses, but also with casual food.

Slightly chilled in summer or with poolside fare such as a cold meat and salad buffet.
