A modern styled Cabernet with intense yet supple fruit flavours. Rich ruby red. Concentrated plum and blackcurrant nose with cedar aromas. A chewy mouthful packed with forest-floor berry fruit and tobacco spice for interest. Enduring tail. Holds fruit at least five years from harvest.

about the harvest: Full ripe grapes picked at 23.5º Balling.

in the cellar : Fermented with NT 177 yeast at 28 – 30ºC and pumping over was done three times a day. After 5 days, the wine was pressed at 1,4 bar in a tank press. The wine was racked clean twice before going to French barrels for 12 months.
