Rooiberg Roodewyn 2001

This is an exciting, full-bodied blended (Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon) red with firm but not obtrusive tannin. Roodewyn has a beautiful ruby colour and maturation in French oak ensures a dimension ofspice and berry on the nose. A wine that will age gracefully.

in the cellar : Each wine individualy made in rototanks, through malolactic, and into French Wever barrels for one year. Then these three wines get blended and left for another 6 months to get "married" before getting bottled.
