This is a wonderful, medium bodied wine with good structure and ageing potential. Well-integrated toasty flavours, good yeast complexity and citrus flavours are prevalent on the nose. It is totally in a league of its own.

in the vineyard : All the grapes for the 2001 vintage were handpicked on the J.C. Le Roux farm after meticulous care in the vineyards, making this the first Devon Valley origin Chardonnay produced at the House of J.C. Le Roux.
