Talana Hill Chardonnay 2004

Bright yellow straw-like hues. The aromas are very complex. The nose reminds one of a Burgundian wine – the minerality and well intergrated oak gives the impression of a seamless wine. The wine reveals plenty of intense and rich aromas of toast, smoke, grapefruit and pineapple. The palate is layered with flavours of peaches, almonds and apricots all well supported by the sensible oaking. The balance is superb and the wine is elegant with lots of character.

This wine is ideal with creamy pastas, lime and olive oil catch of the day or a mildly spiced Tom Yum soup.
