Franschhoek Chardonnay/Chenin Blanc 1997

A full-bodied dry white wine with lightly wooded vanilla flavours from the chenin blanc in perfect balance. A wine for the connoisieur. Enjoy on its own or with fish or any white meat dishes.

in the cellar : A blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Chenin Blanc. The Chenin Blanc was barrel fermented and went through malolactic fermentation in 225l Small French oak barrels for ±5 months. The Chardonnay was tank fermented and placed on the lees and then fermented in the barrels for 3 months.
