Drostdy Hof Prisma Rosé 2007

This wine has a deep rose colour with ripe strawberries, sweet plums and a touch of spice on the nose. It is medium to light bodied, easy drinking and fresh and fruity with strawberries and plum flavours.

in the vineyard : The grapes were selected from vineyards in Stellenbosch and Malmesburry. Drostdy-Hof Rosé is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
about the harvest: The grapes were harvested at between 20° and 22° Balling late February.
in the cellar : The grapes were crushed and the juice separated from the skins immediately after crushing. After cold settling the juice was inoculated with selected yeast culture and fermented in stainless steel tanks at 15°C.
