Eaglevlei Shiraz Reserve 2006

The wine is vibrant crimson red in colour with rich aromas of plum and touches of white pepper and ginger. These flavours follow through on the mouth filling, accessible palate and the wine has a lively, fresh finish.

Serve with pasta, cheese and red meat dishes.

AWARDS
The grape variety originally known as 'Syrah' and being responsible for the great red wines of the Northern Rhone. SHIRAZ is planted widely throughout France and the new world. It is believed that South Africa has the potential to produce the worlds best SHIRAZ, not as crude as some of the Australian wines, but instead have finesse and elegance, SHIRAZ gives full fruity heavy wines with a hint of blackberry.
