Village Shiraz 1996

This wine was made in the traditional way. The grapes were crushed underfoot, pressed using a basket press and fermented in open tanks. After nine months in French and American oak barrels the wine was hand bottled with out filtering. Village Shiraz has developed into a full-bodied wine with a distinct smoky, peppery character.
