in the vineyard : The 80ha Mount Rozier estate neighbours the illustrious and historical Vergelegen Estate.

The estate is blessed with the most unique topography, with aspects varying from south-east facing slopes right through to south-west. The vines are planted with a difference in height above sea level between the lowest, which lie at 120m, up to the highest at 270m whilst its proximity to the ocean provides fresh cooling breezes.

The distinct environment components are completed by the variation in soil types found on the estatei ncluding the highly regarded Hutton and Oak leaf types (derived from granite) which have good physical and water retention properties.

The estate is planted with premium varietals and sub-divided into independent single vineyards creating truly unique wines of character and exceptional quality.
