Rozier Bay Pinotage

A rich ruby red core leads into aromas of red berries and ripe juicy plums with hints of cinnamon from gentle oak ageing. A full palate with complex layers of sweet red fruit and a long lingering finish

This typically South African red wine is a perfect match to a traditional springbok pot. Also a beautiful compliment to any lamb dish.

in the vineyard : The indigenous and most controversial of all the grapes planted in the Cape. A cross between Cinsaut and Pinot Noir, it is the second most planted ‘quality’ red grape variety in South Africa.

in the cellar : Our belief is that concentrating on the Pinot Noir influences of the varietal and seeking the more delicate nuances can create an attractive modern style of Pinotage.
