Morgenhof Estate Chenin Blanc 2008

A wonderful expression of citrus, lime and passion fruit flavours that are harmoniously intergrated with French oak barrels, explodes on a creamy palate that finishes with a lingering freshness. Fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in French oak barrels for 6 months.

This wine goes well with curries, chicken salad, butterfish, dorado or any form of poultry and duck.

in the vineyard : Production area: Simonsberg-Stellenbosch. Produced and bottled on Morgenhof Wine Estate, 4km from Stellenbosch and 25 km from Paarl on the R44. This vineyard is 39 years old planted on West facing slopes at an altitude of 300-330 m above sea-level. This vineyard produces about 3-4 T/Ha of high concentrated fruit grapes.
