Lievland Shiraz 1998

This is a blockbuster. Massive, complex black cherries are complimented by tones of granite, liquorice and a wild herbaceousness. Colossal fruit tannins are well balanced by an almost sweet alcohol and complex, warm wood profile. The whole wine is connected by a strong black, silk thread from beginning to end.
